Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions that improve existing systems and enable new features.
- Deliver code across scoping, design, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations while resolving root causes of operational issues.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and engineers to translate business and customer needs into software solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Produce documentation and evaluate tools, frameworks, and generative AI capabilities to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
