Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with founders and GTM leaders to define the roadmap and deliver value for users.
- Lead the design and development of full-stack product features across mobile and web applications.
- Balance delivery speed, scope, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to other engineers.
- Collaborate with GTM leaders and designers to implement intuitive, reliable user experiences.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in startups or scaleups.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful features across the stack.
- Strong technical judgment regarding optimization, scope reduction, and refactoring.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to Chicago.
- Experience building React Native mobile apps is preferred.
- Experience with marketplaces, fintech, or consumer-facing products is a bonus.
- Interest in sports betting and creator-fan products.
- Adoption of agentic coding methodologies and an AI-first development approach.
