Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade industrial automation software using C++, .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular or React, and modern engineering practices.
- Develop and support SCADA, HMI, historian, and industrial communication solutions integrating PLCs, RTUs, flow computers, and third-party systems.
- Implement industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104, and DNP3 while improving performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Management, architects, Test Engineering, and cross-functional teams using Agile delivery and CI/CD practices.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and customer deployments.
- Perform root cause analysis, improve cybersecurity and application performance, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to product innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience developing industrial automation software with C++, .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and enterprise application practices.
- Strong experience with Angular or React, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, object-oriented programming, and enterprise software architecture.
- Preferred knowledge of SCADA, HMI, historian systems, industrial communication protocols, Windows Server, and Industrial Cybersecurity principles including IEC 62443.
- Advantageous experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, cloud-hosted industrial solutions, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Desirable understanding of process automation in oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power generation, or water, as well as high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and learn emerging technologies.
