Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain robust low-level secure software using C, C++, and Rust.
- Perform code-level security analysis, implement and verify defenses against emerging threats, and mitigate software vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Product, and Architecture teams to integrate system security solutions.
- Develop efficient software meeting defined security properties and contribute to system security and performance KPIs.
- Participate in security architecture discussions and document software designs and implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security, such as identity and access management.
- Experience with embedded software, low-level software development, device software, or hardware/software system environments.
- Preferred experience with security software engineering, secure coding standards, vulnerability analysis, security testing methodologies, and fuzzing.
- Preferred experience with System on Chip architecture, low-level driver development, embedded debugging, hardware security concepts, secure boot, Trusted Execution Environments, roots of trust, device authentication, Digital Rights Management, cryptographic protocols, or ML security.
