Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Develop and enhance SFRA storefront functionality, controllers, models, and business logic.
- Build and support OCAPI, SCAPI, REST API, and third-party service integrations.
- Develop and maintain SFCC Jobs Framework and Service Framework implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production defects, application issues, and integration failures.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Support deployment, release validation, and post-release activities.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, solution design, and technical recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience.
- Strong experience with SFRA architecture and storefront development.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Controllers, ISML, and SFCC development best practices.
- Experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, the SFCC Service Framework, and Jobs Framework.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
- Experience with multi-site and multi-locale eCommerce implementations.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, ownership, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification is required.
- Preferred experience includes Sterling OMS, Adyen, PayPal, Apple Pay, digital wallets, search and merchandising platforms, analytics and tagging platforms, fraud prevention platforms such as Forter, tax integrations such as Vertex, shipping and fulfilment integrations, customer experience and review platforms, and retail or omnichannel commerce.
- Experience with SCAPI-based and API-first commerce implementations is preferred.
