Responsibilities
- Evaluate system requirements and capabilities for test automation.
- Set up, configure, enhance, and maintain cloud-based test automation frameworks.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and cloud services.
- Facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Develop test procedures, test plans, expected outcomes, and verification statements.
- Configure test environments and test data and validate software requirements and capabilities.
- Work with manual testers to prioritize automation for maximum value.
- Guide junior and mid-level testers through mentoring, code reviews, and automation strategy development.
- Apply software development lifecycle knowledge to anticipate system complexities and plan testing cycles.
- Follow version control, coding, software build, and release standards.
- Support Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps development and testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience developing automated test scripts with ReactJS and NodeJS.
- At least 5 years of experience setting up and configuring test automation frameworks in AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, and Chai.
- Experience testing APIs through gateways and cloud services.
- Expert knowledge of industry-standard cloud-based test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud concepts.
- Experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience testing containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Experience managing and executing tests with NUnit and TestNG.
- Experience developing automated tests for complex Java-based web applications is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
- US citizenship is not required and no clearance is required.
