Responsibilities

Collaborate with a software architect on product design and specification.
Work with artist supervisors and production leads to develop initial UI designs.
Translate designs into efficient, clean, and maintainable front-end products.
Lead UI implementation for the Artist Tool.
Identify, debug, and resolve front-end bugs and performance issues.
Establish front-end development standards, patterns, and frameworks for the Core Services department.
Integrate backend services into front-end applications.
Participate in code reviews and provide sprint-based progress updates.
Coordinate with remote teams across different time zones.

8+ years of non-intern professional software development experience.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript and CSS.
Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks, development tools, and patterns.
Ability to create initial design concepts and translate them into maintainable code.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent subject, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred experience with UX, Python or Golang, relational database management systems, and Linux development.
Preferred experience in VFX, feature animation, or games.
Agile development experience using Scrum is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
