Responsibilities
- Lead the development of health trajectory models predicting future member states and risks.
- Produce experimental evidence and technical recommendations for product features.
- Design next-best-action algorithms tailored to member contexts.
- Research advanced decision policies to optimize intervention choices.
- Set standards for algorithmic rigor and mentor other scientists.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize research outputs.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field required.
- Multiple years of experience in machine learning research or applied science.
- Deep expertise in time-series modeling, healthcare prediction, and causal inference.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML tools, with experience in cloud deployment.
- Ability to translate business questions into technical problems and communicate effectively.
