Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and management of developer documentation.
- Continuously improve usability and discoverability of documentation.
- Build implementation guides and tutorials to reduce time-to-first-success.
- Develop and maintain documentation standards and editorial processes.
- Measure documentation effectiveness using analytics and user feedback.
- Own partner-facing communications for platform changes.
- Run the intake-to-publish workflow for technical details.
- Translate complex technical concepts into developer-friendly content.
- Leverage AI to enhance documentation creation and maintenance.
- Define standards and processes for a growing documentation team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in developer experience or technical writing.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a focus on clarity.
- Ability to read API specifications and understand object models.
- Experience with API-first products and engineering teams.
- Familiarity with documentation platforms and GitHub workflows.
- Comfortable using AI tools for documentation improvement.
- Proven track record of setting standards and operating independently.
