Base Salary
$164k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior applications lead for defense and national security efforts.
- Partner with Business Development on customer engagement and strategic account development.
- Engage with senior officials and strategic partners in the defense sector.
- Translate defense priorities into application opportunities for quantum computing.
- Develop narratives, briefings, and proposals connecting PsiQuantum’s roadmap to defense challenges.
- Assess feasibility and define project scope with technical teams.
- Act as a project owner for selected defense engagements.
- Help define PsiQuantum’s broader defense applications strategy.
Requirements
- Significant experience in the U.S. defense industry or national security.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Ph.D. in physics, engineering, applied mathematics, chemistry, or a related field.
- Familiarity with quantum computing and related technologies preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
