Base Salary
$215k - $254k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data ingestion and storage systems.
- Architect and optimize distributed systems for performance and scalability.
- Implement and enhance customer-facing APIs using modern programming languages.
- Build, deploy, and operate services on Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
- Lead long-term architectural initiatives for metrics and storage infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
- Five years of experience in a related role.
- Experience maintaining and deploying Go and Python code in live systems.
- Proficiency with MySQL and Postgres.
- Experience deploying distributed systems on cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs (Rest or gRPC).
- Knowledge of Kafka or Pubsub.
