Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and translate them into feasible software designs.
- Design, code, test, maintain, modify, and troubleshoot software programs for operating systems or applications.
- Develop and automate software validation processes, including test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Perform root-cause analysis, resolve system issues, and recommend improvements to system performance and availability.
- Prepare code, documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, reports, and project status updates according to defined standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff throughout delivery.
- Capture client clarifications, collect feedback, respond to customer requests, and support on-time delivery.
- Participate in continuing education and training to learn programming languages and current best practices.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting is required by the role description.
- Ability to analyze information needs, system flows, data usage, work processes, and software requirements.
- Ability to develop test cases and automate software validation processes.
- Ability to document solutions and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, training, and skill-upgrading certifications.
