Base Salary
$126k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on improving CoStar’s cloud-based machine learning environment.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and optimize scalable, reusable, and maintainable machine learning models.
- Develop ML solutions that process large amounts of data and improve customer experiences.
- Work with engineers, product owners, leadership, and business stakeholders to solve practical problems.
- Build understanding of the CoStar business and identify ways machine learning can improve it.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.
- At least three years of professional development experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a related role.
- At least two years of programming experience with Python.
- Experience with recommendation systems and preferably computer vision.
- Strong foundations in supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering, and familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, Amazon Personalize, or SageMaker.
- Preferred experience with SQL-based relational databases such as AWS RDS or document-based databases such as DynamoDB.
- Experience solving streaming and batch data processing problems at scale.
- Experience building, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models.
- Track record of commitment to prior employers.
