Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

Responsibilities
- Build and improve backend services and platform integrations for on-premises and public AI cloud environments.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD practices.
- Improve platform reliability through observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational response.
- Operate systems across hardware, bare metal, virtual machines, Kubernetes, and public cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with users, peers, and domain experts to translate infrastructure needs into dependable systems.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering judgment while helping the team scale its capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with experience designing and delivering complex production services and applications.
- Fluency in Python; Go and/or TypeScript experience is a plus.
- Experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud infrastructure, including work across bare metal and virtual machines.
- AWS experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with observability and production operations across hardware, system, and application layers, including monitoring, alerting, and telemetry.
- Additional depth in network automation, storage platforms, cloud security, or application security is preferred.
- Candidates at various experience levels may be considered and will be assessed for the appropriate level during the interview process.
