Base Salary
$239k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain capabilities across on-premises and SaaS offerings.
- Partner with Product Management and engineering teams to define technical strategy and influence the long-term product roadmap.
- Architect and implement scalable features for cloud and on-premises environments.
- Drive resilient, enterprise-grade solutions meeting demanding scalability and performance requirements.
- Champion test-driven development, code quality, reliability, and operational best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Participate in Agile development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong software development experience in C++ and/or Go.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud-native applications, SaaS platforms, microservices, or distributed infrastructure.
- Experience with data protection, storage systems, filesystems, or related infrastructure technologies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for software quality, testing methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
