Responsibilities
- Lead development of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and automated development and testing workflows.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Own Identity Platform and ServiceNow integrations, including APIs, connectors, provisioning workflows, and lifecycle automation.
- Develop scalable backend services and user-facing IAM workflows with full-stack technical input.
- Apply data analytics and AI-assisted techniques to role mining, access patterns, entitlement optimization, and access recommendations.
- Participate in design and code reviews focused on performance, maintainability, scalability, reliability, and testability.
- Mentor and guide 4–5 junior to mid-level engineers.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and collaborate with security, compliance, platform, product, and engineering teams.
- Explore and advocate for patterns that improve resilience, developer velocity, and operational maturity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years as a senior staff engineer or equivalent experience and education.
- Deep hands-on experience building production enterprise platforms and designing and operating complex distributed systems.
- Strong IAM experience with identity lifecycle management, RBAC/ABAC, access certifications, and privileged access management.
- Strong backend proficiency in Java or Python, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and working knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps workflows using GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, JFrog, or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and/or Puppet.
- Ability to design identity data queries and pipelines and derive actionable insights from operational or identity datasets.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, software quality, reliability, and observability principles.
- Preferred experience includes Java, C#, or another high-level compiled language; JUnit, Selenium, Playwright, or TestNG; SailPoint, Veza, or ServiceNow integrations; SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and SCIM; Neo4j or ML-assisted role mining; regulated environments; and AI productivity tools.
- Must be a US citizen, naturalized US citizen, or US permanent resident holding a green card due to federal requirements.

- Base pay is listed at $190,900–$334,100, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
