Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software architects to develop software specifications and architecture.
- Perform detailed software component design and coding.
- Set up and maintain the software development toolchain.
- Specify, design, and perform testing and verification activities.
- Manage software work products under configuration control.
- Support software/software and hardware/software integration.
- Contribute to standardization, reusable solutions, continuous improvement, and process enhancements.
- Work collaboratively with software, hardware, quality assurance, and other engineering teams.
Requirements
- Engineer or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Mandatory experience in software development.
- Knowledge of software architecture and component design.
- Familiarity with testing and verification processes.
- Understanding of railway, vital, or safety-critical software development is desirable.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills; French is highly desirable and German is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
- Team management and leadership skills.
- Experience with concurrent engineering practices.
