Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify custom applications and scripts across multiple platforms.
- Maintain custom software applications, services, and application code bases.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing software solutions.
- Maintain system architecture for versatility and consistency across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Provide input on software configuration, system documentation, capability improvements, build roadmaps, and software updates.
- Implement automation solutions and containerized applications using tools such as Ansible and Docker.
- Attend meetings and reviews and communicate with internal teams, program leadership, customers, mission partners, and vendors.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience; 12 or more years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.
- At least 3 years of experience using Rust and/or Python to develop applications and services, with Rust strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated custom development experience using Linux-based servers and appliances.
- Experience implementing automation tools using Ansible and custom applications using Docker containers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Preferred knowledge of Rust frameworks and WebAssembly, VMware, Ubuntu Server, Windows Server, Samba, Linux Firejail, GitHub, GitLab, Squid, Graylog, SQL, PostgreSQL, and PowerShell.
- Preferred knowledge of web-based application development, browser plugin development, APIs, microservices architecture, and AI model integration.
- Preferred certifications include Security+, ITIL v3 Foundation, Certified System Administrator, Certified Ethical Hacker, and web application penetration testing certifications.
Benefits
- Pay range is $107,900.00-$195,050.00.
- The position supports a government contract in the National Capital Region.
