Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure and managed services for Clio’s production environments.
- Implement and evolve Terraform-based Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and developer experience in collaboration with developers.
- Enhance observability, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and incident response.
- Optimize cloud performance, cost efficiency, and security posture.
- Mentor team members and collaborate with Security, MLOps, and Product Engineering teams.
- Define agentic patterns for building, deploying, and observing cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating AWS infrastructure and managed services such as RDS, EKS, and Lambda at scale.
- Expertise with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Strong coding experience beyond scripting, including application development or robust automation frameworks and tooling.
- Experience with container orchestration and cluster management.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Buildkite and GitHub Actions.
- Production experience with relational or non-relational datastores.
- Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Linux systems administration, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, documentation, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes on AWS, securing cloud environments at scale, AI-assisted engineering, platform or developer productivity teams, and software teams shipping cloud applications.
- Preferred experience includes managing distributed datastores such as MySQL and Aurora, troubleshooting database bottlenecks, and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
