Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance automated quality engineering solutions for Core Management System functional areas.
- Own end-to-end functional and non-functional validation, including test strategy, automation, execution, defect management, and release readiness.
- Lead testing for product reliability, performance, scalability, resilience, and operational readiness.
- Integrate automation-first testing practices into CI/CD pipelines and improve release quality and engineering efficiency.
- Use AI-powered testing and automation tools to improve test development, defect detection, and test effectiveness.
- Analyze defects, troubleshoot complex system-level issues, and drive root-cause resolution.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to mitigate quality risks and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in test automation, framework evolution, and quality engineering practices.
- Serve as Scrum Master for a SAFe agile team and help plan and execute team objectives.
Requirements
- Engineering degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in system testing, end-to-end validation, and test automation.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks with modern automation tools and programming or scripting languages.
- Knowledge of functional, integration, system, regression, performance, scalability, and reliability testing methodologies.
- Experience validating distributed systems, observability platforms, data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and containerized applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and applying quality engineering, test strategy, release readiness, and automation-first practices.
- Strong defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills for complex quality and system-level issues.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, or agentic frameworks is desirable.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration experience in Agile environments.
- Experience with Network Management Systems or Element Management Systems in the Core Network domain is preferred.
- Experience in the Core Network Signaling domain, including 4G/5G mobile core networks, is preferred.
- Prior Scrum Master experience is preferred.
