Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks and quality engineering solutions for cloud-native observability platforms.
- Own end-to-end quality validation, including test strategy, test design, automation, execution, reporting, and release readiness.
- Drive automation-first testing across CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery speed, release confidence, and manual-effort reduction.
- Identify, analyze, and track defects while collaborating with engineering teams on timely resolution and quality improvements.
- Use AI-assisted testing and engineering productivity tools to improve coverage and accelerate defect discovery.
- Collaborate with development, product management, operations, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in system testing, test automation, quality engineering, and Agile delivery practices.
Requirements
- Engineering degree and 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
- Strong test automation development experience with Java, Python, Go, or similar programming languages, including scalable automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience testing cloud-native applications deployed on Kubernetes or OpenShift, including microservices and distributed-system architectures.
- Strong knowledge of API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing with modern automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD-driven test automation using Jenkins, Git, Helm, and containerized deployment pipelines.
- Experience testing data-intensive and event-driven systems involving Kafka, databases, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data processing workflows.
- Strong defect management, troubleshooting, test analysis, and root cause analysis skills for complex distributed applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with observability and telemetry concepts, including metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, and analytics platforms.
- Preferred exposure to AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, or AI/ML-driven quality engineering.
- Preferred experience in telecom network management, observability, analytics, or autonomous network solutions.
