Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design for endpoint and workload protection, EDR, XDR, and Application Control capabilities.
- Own vulnerability and exposure management, including vulnerability scanning and CTEM.
- Design cloud and SaaS security posture strategies using CSPM and SSPM capabilities.
- Architect email, messaging, gateway, network, perimeter, secure browser, DLP, deception, and active defense capabilities.
- Define enterprise defense reference architectures, integration patterns, technical standards, and deployment blueprints across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Align endpoint security strategy with business, security, and regulatory goals and drive technical roadmaps with product and engineering leaders.
- Design automated workflows connecting vulnerability discoveries, threat intelligence, and remediation prioritization.
- Integrate Enterprise Defense telemetry with SIEM, SOAR, and SOC detection pipelines.
- Lead threat modeling, endpoint architecture assessments, emerging technology evaluations, PoCs, RFPs, and M&A architecture reviews.
- Work with Scrum engineering teams and mentor team members on architecture and technical development.
Requirements
- 15 or more years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, and infrastructure defense.
- 8 or more years of experience in an enterprise security architect role overseeing multi-domain defense stacks.
- Expertise architecting EDR and XDR platforms and Application Control solutions.
- Deep knowledge of CSPM and SSPM tools, vulnerability platforms, API-integrated email security tools, secure web gateways, SSL/TLS decryption, and secure browsers.
- Hands-on experience designing deception environments using honeypots, bait credentials, canary tokens, and Active Directory deception.
- Experience collaborating with architects, engineering leads, and program managers to define architectural visions and roadmaps.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platform services.
- Ability to create PoC architectures with code.
- Experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab CI, or similar continuous integration platforms.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, or vendor-specific certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, ELK, Grafana, AppDynamics, and Agile development methodology.

- The stated base salary range is $218,400-$365,200 annually, or $263,200-$401,400 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.
