Base Salary
$206k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and test operating-systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations.
- Develop software and tools supporting electronic design, infrastructure, and technology platforms.
- Support enhancements and new semiconductor products while determining hardware compatibility and influencing hardware design.
- Drive projects or processes of significant technical importance and apply engineering principles to AMD systems and products.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in the offered role or a closely related engineering role.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
- Three years of experience with validation engineering, ML infrastructure or HPC performance testing, GPU platforms and software ecosystems, Git, Docker, automated test frameworks, Python, Bash or YAML scripting in Linux, GPU testing and profiling, and CPU or GPU architecture.
