Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated Web UI test scripts.
- Perform manual and functional testing of UI features, workflows, edge cases, validations, and user flows.
- Validate data accuracy, persistence, backend retrieval, formatting, and display through the UI.
- Test end-to-end flows across pages and components, including state changes and navigation.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution results.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Log, track, and verify defects through resolution and closure.
- Contribute to functional, regression, and smoke test coverage with an automation-first approach.
- Evaluate and adopt testing tools, frameworks, and practices to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Web UI testing with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or WebDriverIO.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior.
- Experience validating UI-to-backend data flow, input validation, persistence, and display.
- Working knowledge of API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, quality focus, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration ability.
- Preferred experience includes Playwright, JMeter or LoadRunner, BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, responsive and cross-browser testing, and debugging with backend systems, databases, or logs.
- Preferred interest in security reconnaissance concepts and willingness to test features in a security-focused SaaS platform.
