Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct security design reviews, code reviews, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
- Perform threat modeling and penetration testing for AI/ML applications and coordinate vulnerability remediation.
- Build security automation including scanning tools, security gates, guardrail testing scripts, secrets detection, and dependency vulnerability checks.
- Implement controls for prompt injection, output filtering, data isolation, model API endpoint hardening, and guardrail configuration.
- Support incident response, triage, root cause analysis, and remediation for production AI systems.
- Document findings and remediation guidance as reusable playbooks and runbooks.
- Contribute reusable modules, templates, and reference configurations to the FDE security accelerator library.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of combined experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating tasks with command-line tools.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages.
- At least 2 years of experience identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building AI/agentic systems.
- Preferred experience includes service-oriented architectures, microservices, web services, AWS technologies, and security or compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Preferred qualifications include a US government Top Secret or higher security clearance and knowledge of at least two of Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go.
- The selected candidate must be a US Citizen.
