Responsibilities
- Deliver a unified API and developer platform for Zscaler products focused on standardization, governance, and developer experience.
- Create and refine API development and integration processes, tools, and methodologies across the product portfolio.
- Lead the creation of a scalable distributed API platform that is highly available, observable, and operable.
- Create SDKs and design APIs according to API-first principles, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams on external-facing products and roadmap development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the architecture, design, and development of API frameworks and technologies.
- Required experience creating SDKs and designing APIs using API-first design principles, standards, and best practices.
- Solid background in message brokers, caches, queues, and publish/subscribe concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go, Java, C++, Rust, or JavaScript.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
