Responsibilities

  • Support customers along their sales journey with live demonstrations and presentations.
  • Sell directly to IT managers, developers, and product managers across various industries.
  • Focus on Okta Workforce Identity solutions and model how they support customer architecture requirements.
  • Execute well-defined, outcome-focused proofs of concept (POCs).
  • Maintain a broad and deep technical understanding of the Okta product line and underlying technologies.
  • Participate in local and regional events as a presenter and attendee.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in the US time zone (PST).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM or a related SaaS field as a pre-sales engineer.
  • Expertise in IAM, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and related technologies is preferred.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and solutions.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as consulting or pre-sales.
  • Strong empathy, listening skills, and time management skills.
