Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complex, high-throughput backend services and APIs.
- Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for backend systems and drive adoption of appropriate technologies and patterns.
- Identify and resolve technical debt proactively.
- Architect and implement large-scale distributed systems, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless solutions.
- Mentor engineers and improve technical expertise and engineering quality across the organization.
- Influence engineering standards and best practices for testing, performance tuning, and security.
- Communicate complex technical ideas and drive consensus on architectural decisions.
Requirements
- Exceptional proficiency with .NET, including extensive experience with C#, .NET Core/5+, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.
- Demonstrable architecture experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in design patterns, domain-driven design, and SOLID principles.
- Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with cloud services such as managed databases, message queues, and containerization.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies and scalable data modeling.
- Ability to decompose complex problems and evaluate trade-offs between technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
