Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Process Automations.
- Enhance Sales Cloud capabilities covering account and contact management, opportunities, leads, territories, and sales forecasting.
- Develop and manage Salesforce integrations with enterprise platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware.
- Lead code reviews, uphold engineering and security standards, and address technical debt, performance gaps, and platform risks.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline management, deployment processes, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and Salesforce release evaluations.
- Create technical documentation including solution designs, entity-relationship diagrams, and deployment guides.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and guide adoption of engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience and at least 4 years in software, systems, application, or platform engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and Process Builder.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, sales processes, integrations, security models, system architecture, debugging, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware, Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing tools, and deployment approaches.
- Active Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Application Architect certification; Copado, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins experience; healthcare or life sciences experience; Salesforce Shield or Event Monitoring exposure; and Data Loader or Informatica experience.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, or RHCSA, or equivalent.
- Ability to lead complex engineering work, influence technical direction, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement.
