Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own scalable backend services using C# .NET Core and Python.
- Lead the design and development of web applications using React JS, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Architect and optimize AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Own and improve testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, incident management, and operational reliability.
- Make architectural decisions, conduct design reviews, establish technical standards, and own technical quality and direction.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Identify systemic platform issues, develop long-term solutions, build consensus, and drive critical initiatives.
- Partner with product and cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts, and influence roadmap decisions.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and take end-to-end ownership from problem definition through production delivery and operational health.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with a proven record of designing scalable backend services in .NET.
- Deep expertise with React JS, including state management, performance optimization, and component architecture.
- Strong working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and the Kubernetes ecosystem, including production problem solving and capacity planning.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, web and API security, OWASP, and threat modeling.
- Experience designing modern microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures and evaluating architectural trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure services and scalable, resilient, cost-optimized cloud architectures.
- Strong experience with CI/CD principles, pipeline design, and automated deployment workflows at scale.
- Experience with monitoring, incident management, post-incident improvements, and reliability initiatives.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, architectural decision-making, system design, and influence across engineering and product teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions with platform engineers, UX/UI designers, and DevOps teams.
- Ability to manage software projects end-to-end across ideation, architecture, implementation, delivery, and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, iterative environment and identify opportunities from emerging technologies and industry trends.
