Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug system and IP validation frameworks for bare-metal and lightweight RTOS environments.
- Establish standardized QA processes and release cadence for SVE test infrastructure used internally and externally.
- Integrate SVE drivers and validation content with core teams to improve release quality and stability.
- Develop automated QA tools, flows, build-quality metrics, and regression test suites.
- Develop, port, and enhance system-level and low-power validation content while finding and root-causing hardware bugs.
- Collaborate with design, design verification, software, and IP validation teams to debug issues and enable SVE infrastructure on emulation and post-silicon environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer engineering, electrical engineering, science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on silicon validation and embedded software development experience, or 4, 3, or 2+ years respectively for bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD candidates under the minimum qualifications.
- Strong C/C++ skills with familiarity with assembly, VHDL/Verilog, Python, or Perl.
- Knowledge of embedded software architecture, SoC concepts, operating systems or RTOS environments, CPU architectures, memory systems, and hardware-software bring-up.
- Experience with JTAG, Lauterbach Trace32, lab equipment, source control, code reviews, compilers, linkers, and Makefiles.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
