Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts from requirements and user stories.
- Perform manual UI testing of web and mobile applications, including responsiveness and cross-browser/device compatibility testing.
- Develop and maintain UI test automation using Python, Java, or JavaScript with Robot Framework or Playwright.
- Perform API and CLI automation using Selenium and Appium.
- Identify, document, track, retest, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams using Jira.
- Use browser DevTools to inspect UI elements, analyze console logs, troubleshoot issues, and validate fixes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide test reports and quality feedback to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of overall experience.
- At least 6 years of UI test automation experience using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong experience in manual UI testing of web and mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with Robot Framework or Playwright.
- Experience with API/CLI automation, Selenium, Appium, and Git.
- Understanding of browser compatibility, responsive UI testing, and browser DevTools.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket, Confluence, or other ALM tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate availability and willingness to work from Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai.
