Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical advisor and trusted partner to enterprise customers throughout the sales process.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for other Systems Engineers while providing technical leadership.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments and challenges.
  • Architect and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer use cases.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Proof of Concept (POC) engagements for technical validation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical sales strategies for complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable solution recommendations.
  • Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes.
  • Refine sales strategy and manage technical responsibilities across strategic opportunities.
  • Contribute to responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Deliver partner enablement and technical training to resellers and integrators.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events.
  • Partner with Product Management and R&D to communicate customer feedback and market requirements.
  • Produce marketing materials that support go-to-market plans.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive technologies.
  • Promote interoperability and functional testing across stakeholders.
  • Serve as the technical solution expert in complex evaluations.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales or related technical roles.
  • Experience in enterprise cybersecurity, storage, networking, or cloud solutions.
  • Expertise in leading technical sales motions and solution design.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture and implementation across various computing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and risk management concepts.
  • Familiarity with current storage and infrastructure architectures.
  • Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Knowledge of Linux, NFS file systems, and general systems architecture.
  • Strong networking knowledge including Ethernet and TCP/IP.
  • Familiarity with modern web and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with scripting and automation technologies like Python.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical architectures to diverse audiences.
