Responsibilities
- Design and build automated testing frameworks using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write clean, modular, and efficient automation code for APIs and/or user interfaces.
- Translate user stories and requirements into detailed, executable test cases and scenarios.
- Interact with relational databases to verify data integrity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on software quality and automation.
- Apply test-driven development and behavior-driven development principles.
Requirements
- Foundational Java development knowledge and experience from academic work, projects, or a bootcamp.
- Exposure to developing applications with Spring Boot.
- Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MariaDB.
- Passion for writing clean, simple, and efficient test automation code.
- Understanding of modern software quality principles, including TDD and BDD.
- Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or ReactJS is a plus.
- Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or Git is highly valued.
- Exposure to Python for scripting or tooling is a bonus.
