Responsibilities
- Lead feature estimation, backlog refinement, risk identification, technical design, and solution development with the team.
- Develop and maintain front-end applications, databases, APIs, messaging frameworks, and integrations with external applications and platforms.
- Create user stories, technical requirements, documentation, solution alternatives, and business process redesign recommendations.
- Develop and execute manual and automated unit, functional, regression, integrated, and exploratory tests.
- Support production readiness, continuous delivery, release coordination, application maintenance, and production issue resolution.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, mentoring, code reviews, knowledge transfer, and technical direction to team members.
- Partner with product leadership, product designers, business partners, IT teams, and product owners to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in programming, systems, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically more than eight years of application definition, build, testing, and development experience.
- Expert programming and application development skills across the relevant technology stack, including front-end, server-side, and database development.
- Expert understanding of relational database design, automated testing practices, object-oriented design patterns, and application architecture standards.
- Experience integrating applications with other platforms, developing and testing applications, and analyzing complex problems spanning multiple business areas.
- Ability to create and execute software test scripts, configure software, analyze requirements, develop alternative solutions, and prioritize work.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, judgment, coaching, and mentoring skills.
