Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, standardize, test, verify, validate, and deploy AI/ML software solutions for healthcare applications.
  • Apply machine learning techniques including deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and large language models to healthcare data.
  • Design and maintain tools and CI/CD pipelines supporting consistent and automated AI software development and releases.
  • Contribute to system design, component development, integration, quality procedures, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements for digital health products.
  • Support AI governance reviews, documentation, stakeholder communications, issue tracking, and governance-record maintenance under senior guidance.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, user experience designers, product managers, IT professionals, and external partners to assess feasibility and understand clinical workflows and requirements.
  • Translate user feedback and requirements into AI solution design concepts and usability specifications.
  • Analyze data and communicate complex findings clearly to technical, business, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to best practices and standards for AI development, deployment methodologies, tools, and platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, health science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of applying AI and machine learning in production environments and understanding of healthcare technology.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments and software development tools.
  • Skill in AI/ML techniques and frameworks, with preferred experience in deep learning, natural language processing, and Generative AI.
  • Familiarity with data engineering, data science, AI engineering, and MLOps best practices.
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of clinical workflows, electronic health records, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Preferred familiarity with systems or quality engineering practices, regulatory standards, compliance frameworks, user-centered design, human factors engineering, and usability testing.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse technical and non-technical audiences and manage multiple priorities.
