Base Salary
$142k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain shared JavaScript libraries and UI components.
- Implement business logic for digital supply-chain tool workflows.
- Review JavaScript and TypeScript code.
- Act as a technical leader for projects and initiatives.
- Use test-driven and agile development practices.
- Build tools supporting workflows and reporting for Disney’s digital content supply chain.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in web development or software engineering.
- Mastery of HTTP server and proxy technologies such as HAProxy, NGINX, and Apache.
- Extensive experience with Node.js and/or Java or Kotlin programming.
- Extensive experience with cloud-native technologies including AWS EC2, Fargate, and CloudFront.
- Experience with frontend web development technologies and principles.
- Experience with task automation.
- Ability to research, learn, assess, and evangelize new technologies.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, drive, and self-motivation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent.
- Preferred experience includes media distribution, AI-driven software, vendor-team delivery, performance testing, application profiling, and React Native.
Benefits
- Full-time employment.
- Hiring range of $141,900.00 to $190,300.00 per year in California and Connecticut.
- Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.
