Base Salary
$142k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop core site functionality using JavaScript, React, and GraphQL.
- Prototype new features and research applicable technologies.
- Implement practices that improve application performance and scalability.
- Review merge requests to maintain code quality and meet product requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and project management teams to refine specifications and timelines.
- Partner with other engineering teams to deliver solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with storytellers and designers across Disney brands.
Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of programming and software development practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript, React, CSS3, and GraphQL.
- Ability to research solutions to complex problems.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Driven and self-motivated.
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with React or React Native, Redux, TypeScript, CSS3/SCSS, Jest, React Testing Library, Selenium, Nightwatch, Cypress, SauceLabs, WebPack, Babel, Node/Express, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Full-stack experience is preferred.
