Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions independently within a Scaled Agile software development organization.
- Write, test, debug, and maintain source code for containerized applications.
- Develop solutions to complex technical issues using Java, React, Spring, and related technologies.
- Write and execute unit and functional tests.
- Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues in laboratory and operational environments.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, Release Planning, and other Agile team activities.
- Support systems engineering, test engineering, and system owner teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based flight service and air traffic systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 2-6 years of experience.
- Significant experience with Java, React, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with web development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and XSD.
- Experience with Linux, version control systems such as Git or Subversion, and development tools or IDEs such as Eclipse and VS Code.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows and tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
- Experience with cloud-based systems and Agile software development environments.
- Ability to obtain an SF-85 Public Trust suitability determination and maintain a favorable Public Trust investigation.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred knowledge of Agile/SAFe practices, Python, Ansible playbooks, YAML, Linux shell scripting, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, MongoDB, and air traffic control or flight services.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and perform high-quality work independently and collaboratively.
