Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build reusable data and machine learning infrastructure, including libraries, configuration-driven interfaces, and infrastructure-as-code components.
- Develop repeatable experimentation and model-comparison tools that preserve data, code, and configuration for result investigation.
- Create and evaluate AI-assisted engineering workflows, including tooling for coding agents and automated checks before production.
- Work with platform users to identify recurring needs, document design trade-offs, and maintain compatibility as shared components change.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
