Senior Platform Engineer, Productivity & Cloud

Responsibilities
- Improve developer experience, productivity, security, and quality across the development lifecycle.
- Own, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions for Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.
- Respond to and resolve application-platform and cloud-infrastructure support requests and production issues.
- Identify engineering productivity bottlenecks and optimize workflows with cross-functional teams.
- Develop self-service tools and automation scripts for engineers.
- Partner with Security to enforce best practices and mitigate vulnerabilities and security incidents.
- Collaborate with data, AI, product, security, and other functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure, and software development.
- Proficiency in Linux operations and shell scripting, including Bash, for automation and system management.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD build systems and tools such as Docker, AWS EKS, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Git.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
- Experience with cloud networking and traffic management, including ALB, NLB, VPC networking, and Route 53.
- Experience developing infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL solutions such as Redis and DynamoDB.
- Preferred: Python experience for automation, tooling, or scripting.
- Preferred: Experience with AI tools such as Claude.
- Preferred: Experience with internal developer platform tooling, observability, monitoring, debugging, JIRA, Sumo Logic, and OpsGenie.
- Preferred: Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
