Base Salary

$140k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Improve developer experience, productivity, security, and quality across the development lifecycle.
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions for Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.
  • Respond to and resolve application-platform and cloud-infrastructure support requests and production issues.
  • Identify engineering productivity bottlenecks and optimize workflows with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop self-service tools and automation scripts for engineers.
  • Partner with Security to enforce best practices and mitigate vulnerabilities and security incidents.
  • Collaborate with data, AI, product, security, and other functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure, and software development.
  • Proficiency in Linux operations and shell scripting, including Bash, for automation and system management.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD build systems and tools such as Docker, AWS EKS, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Git.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
  • Experience with cloud networking and traffic management, including ALB, NLB, VPC networking, and Route 53.
  • Experience developing infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL solutions such as Redis and DynamoDB.
  • Preferred: Python experience for automation, tooling, or scripting.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI tools such as Claude.
  • Preferred: Experience with internal developer platform tooling, observability, monitoring, debugging, JIRA, Sumo Logic, and OpsGenie.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
