Base Salary

$80k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and develop maintainable, modular, optimized, reusable, and scalable software components using Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
Build application components using multithreading, concurrency models, and asynchronous programming principles.
Design, build, and consume APIs and perform API integration testing.
Write and execute unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and security-tool integrations for application build and deployment.
Apply security practices including input validation, authentication, authorization, and OWASP guidelines.
Deploy applications to Azure Cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop understanding of product workflows and the impact of engineering decisions on performance, cost, and user experience.

At least 3.5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS, and NoSQL technologies.
Strong experience with software design patterns including Adapter, Strategy, and Template Method.
Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs efficiently.
Experience using AI-assisted tools in the software development lifecycle.
Experience optimizing memory footprint, garbage collection, and database queries using explain plans and statistics.
Hands-on experience with messaging and queuing.
Proficiency with JUnit and API integration testing using Postman.
Experience with quality gates and security-tool integration in CI/CD processes.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes and familiarity with Azure Cloud services.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and Agile development skills.
