Responsibilities
- Build stable, secure, scalable content platform services and applications.
- Develop content management, ingestion, workflow, search, and distribution capabilities.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET, Python, and AWS.
- Contribute to AI-enabled content tagging, metadata extraction, summarization, semantic search, and workflow automation.
- Integrate external AI and LLM services such as OpenAI and AWS Bedrock into platform capabilities.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code reviews, documentation, testing support, and repetitive-task automation.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborate across teams, own delivery of high-quality outcomes, and advocate for appropriate technology improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least two years of experience developing commercial-quality applications.
- Strong programming skills in C# and Python.
- Working knowledge of Kafka, AWS SQS, AWS Kinesis, SQL Server, and Postgres.
- Experience with automated unit testing, functional testing, test-driven development, and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of domain modeling, object-oriented design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS/ECR, EC2, API Gateway, IAM, and S3.
- Experience with Amazon Neptune, graph databases, and Gremlin for taxonomy hierarchies.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
- Knowledge of Vue, React, Angular, or Web Components is a plus.
