Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features based on internal and external requirements.
- Understand the Avaloq Core Banking Platform and related business areas.
- Perform root-cause analysis, bug fixing, code optimization, and other maintenance work.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and business analysts.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other software engineers.
- Develop and maintain automated tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least four years of experience in a software developer role.
- Knowledge and experience with RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Excellent analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving.
- A quality-conscious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented approach.
- Good understanding of Scrum and agile methodologies.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, including professional English proficiency.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and experience with one or more high-level programming languages are advantageous.
- Banking knowledge is advantageous but not required.
