Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and reliable banking document-output management solutions.
- Create and maintain Quadient Inspire Flex templates, reusable components, business rules, styles, mappings, and multilingual content.
- Develop Java services, extensions, and integrations connecting banking applications, data sources, and downstream distribution channels.
- Manage the complete document-solution lifecycle, including versioning, testing, deployment, monitoring, incident resolution, upgrades, maintenance, and retirement.
- Implement unit, integration, regression, and output-comparison testing for document accuracy, layout, performance, and compatibility.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, business analysts, engineers, and operations teams on requirements, designs, and implementation plans.
- Conduct code and template reviews, document engineering standards, and share expertise through coaching, knowledge transfer, and pair programming.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience with Quadient Inspire Flex, including Inspire Designer, template creation and editing, reusable components, styles, business rules, data mapping, multilingual content, interactive documents, rendering, and output validation.
- Strong understanding of the full banking document lifecycle and experience with banking document production.
- Hands-on knowledge of modern Java, Spring Boot, XML and JSON processing, SQL, and automated unit and integration testing.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Maven or Gradle, code reviews, debugging, dependency management, secure coding, and technical documentation.
- Experience with containerized applications and Avaloq-related technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, JMS, relational databases, and cloud-native deployment and operations.
- Ability to analyze document data structures and integration contracts and troubleshoot issues across templates, rendering services, and delivery channels.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or comparable AI-assisted development tools, with the judgment to review, test, secure, and validate generated code.
- Fluency in English and strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and quality-focused skills.
- Knowledge of the Avaloq Banking Suite and Avaloq Core output processes is a preferred qualification.
