Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and enhance CLM/CRM applications and integrated third-party services.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, application defects, and complex technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis, deliver software changes, and drive permanent resolutions and application improvements.
- Ensure the stable, reliable, efficient, performant, and maintainable operation of client-facing solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, service managers, product teams, project delivery teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in client workshops and support requirements analysis.
- Support functional validation, defect fixing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.
- Work with agile processes and Jira while taking ownership of the assigned area of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of professional experience.
- Experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role in banking or financial services.
- Strong programming, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience with RDBMS, Oracle SQL queries, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Java programming; Unix and Python or similar technologies are valuable.
- Experience with software design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems, and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- A self-motivated, proactive, organized approach and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
- Full professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred experience includes application support, incident management, service operations, CLM, AML, KYC, onboarding, cloud environments, containerization, Avaloq Core certification, automation, and monitoring tools.
