Responsibilities
- Maintain products by delivering timely workarounds and permanent resolutions in accordance with established SLAs.
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable code that follows best practices and architectural standards.
- Write solution designs for new features and participate in code reviews with technical leads.
- Participate in client workshops and requirements analysis sessions.
- Document code and technical solutions for team knowledge sharing.
- Work beyond standard business hours when needed, including shifting, minimal on-call night support, and reasonable overtime.
Requirements
- At least five years of proven experience in software development or a related engineering role.
- Strong programming knowledge and proficiency in one or more languages, including PL/SQL or a similar language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex technical challenges.
- Experience working in agile or waterfall environments and familiarity with the respective methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is a preferred qualification.
- Experience in financial services or the treasury/payments domain is preferred.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, SWIFT MT, or ISO 20022 is preferred.
- A track record of delivering projects on time and within scope is preferred.
