Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable full stack features using React and Go for education platforms.
- Develop and maintain containerized microservices running on Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Optimize React components for state management, rendering performance, accessibility, and responsive user experiences.
- Build secure, concurrent, and maintainable Go backend services and APIs.
- Configure and manage Google Kubernetes Engine clusters, workloads, namespaces, and autoscaling policies.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines covering testing, security scans, and deployments.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data specialists, infrastructure peers, and education stakeholders.
- Apply secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and contribute to shared libraries.
- Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and traces, and improve platform reliability.
- Document system designs, service contracts, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers in React, Go services, and Google Kubernetes Engine operations.
Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on full stack development.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Kubernetes Engine and related cloud-native services.
- Deep hands-on experience with React and accessible, modular front-end architectures.
- Solid expertise in Go, including concurrency patterns, performance optimization, and service-layer design.
- Practical exposure to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing practices.
- Prior experience or strong interest in education or education technology products is preferred.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration in distributed and hybrid work settings.
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer or equivalent cloud-native certification is preferred.
