Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code from other developers and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Develop benchmarks, resolve performance issues, and build storage solutions for AI/ML workloads.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Collaborate across teams to bridge storage infrastructure with AI/ML workloads from training through inference.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with storage, databases, file systems, virtualization, or networking.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience with file systems, Linux kernel internals, AI/ML workloads, and cloud computing platforms.
