Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance trading services for market data, order management, messaging, security reference data, position keeping, and user interfaces.
- Develop options trading infrastructure using C++ and Python, low-latency messaging, and high-performance data structures.
- Collaborate with quants, traders, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and test trading technology.
- Participate in continuous integration pipelines, code quality tools, and release methodologies.
- Build maintainable software and select appropriate C++ constructs without unnecessary complexity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience building high-performance automated trading systems on Linux.
- Intermediate-level C++ programming proficiency.
- Proficiency with the Linux platform, CI/CD integration tools, and Python.
- Basic scripting and database query coding ability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
